72 years old, NJPW wrestlers, Fall Count Anywhere added to Impact Hard to Kill PPV

Hard to kill Just around the corner as Impact’s next PPV is on Friday, January 13th. They filled out the card with a 72-year-old wrestler, a pair of NJPW wrestlers, and a Falls Count Anywhere fight.

Impact brings talent from around the world for a six-way X-Division competition with Angels, Yuya Uemura, Mike Jackson, Bhinder Gujar, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, and Kushida. This match will take place in Hard to kill before the show.

Uemura and Kushida come from NJPW. Uemura had been honing his craft by consistently working on Impact for a few months. The final encounter with Billy was one to check out (here) for Uemura fans. Kushida returns after last year’s stints in July and August, which saw him team up with Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley to do trios.

Jackson is looking to find glory at 72. The 70-year-old debuted on Impact in 2020 to answer a challenge from Johnny Swinger, who was looking for a small buck. Jackson pulled moves like suicide dives and rope-walking in an old-school style. Unfortunately, Swinger stole the win with his feet on the ropes to press the roll-up.

Although Bailey is booked for this Hard to kill The contest, he may have other things on his mind. Impact announced an official date for Kenny King’s Bailey’s Pit Fight challenge. Pit Fight will air on the January 19th episode of Impact wrestling. No ropes, win by knockout or surrender.

A pre-show match was also announced as a Triple Threat Knockouts match. The Death Dollz trio of Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie, Jessicka Tasha Steelz, Savannah Evans, and Gisele Shaw will battle with Jay Vidal at their side. Shaw proposed a union with Stills and Evans to give them a numbers advantage.

Rich Swan wants to take his beef with Steve McClain to the next level for Falls Count Anywhere in Atlanta on a PPV card. Interestingly enough, Impact added Atlanta to the title match. That must mean that chaos will continue in the streets.

Another note, Killer Kelly was added to the Knockouts #1 contender’s match to compete against Masha Slamovich, Deonna Purrazzo, and Taylor Wilde. The reason for the story is not given.
