A bloodied and bruised Brian earns the title of World Iron Man

Bryan Danielson needed to beat RUSH to secure an Iron Man World Title match against the worst person in the world, Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

Already blown away from defeating Konosuke Takeshita, Bandido, Brian Cage, and Timothy Thatcher in this gauntlet, Danielson had to break down the door to get out of his locker room after El Toro Blanco’s teammates slammed the door shut. The MJF was in the arena rooting to disqualify Bryan for not answering the buzzer, but alibi aside, we know who gave the order.

The American Dragon breached the door to get to the ring, but it wasn’t long before he was covered in blood after receiving a kick from the former ROH World Champion. RUSH loved it, channeling one of Danielson’s Blackpool Combat Club teammates…

The brutality continued…

…but of course Brian wasn’t finished. It took Busaiku’s knees to get rid of RUSH, but the second did the trick. All he did was piss Friedman off. After all his schemes to prevent him from having to defend his title in a 60-Minute match on March 5 failed, he charged into the ring by attacking Wounded Dragon – and taking out everyone who tried to stop him.

Between attacking the referee after the match and what he did to security here, Friedman might even get suspended revolution. By the time we get there, Danielson should be healed.

Their only booked match is March 5 in San Francisco.
