The big moment — when Mark Briscoe makes his long-awaited AEW television debut against frequent rival Jay Lethal and friend of the two brothers — will main event this week’s episode in Lexington, Kentucky. But the tribute began after the first match that night with a video that focused as much on family man Bog as it did on wrestler The Briscoe.

Even if you haven’t been following the memory of Pugh that’s been flooding the internet since his death in a car accident last Tuesday, or updates from friends in the Sussex County, Delaware community Preswiss calls home… you probably know that Jamin valued family above almost everything. . In addition to tagging along with his brother, their dad has often been a part of their Ring of Honor stories. A video of Jamin doing a cheery routine with one of his young daughters during the pandemic (featured in the video) has gone viral.

So it was fitting that AEW gave us plenty of footage of the Pugh family here interspersed with a video of Jay with his various opponents for the ROH World Title like Lethal, Samoa Joe, and WWE’s Kevin Owens when he wrestled under his real name, Kevin Steen.
