Some places do strength ratings. Here at Cageside, we do an inventory report.
In this weekly series, we identify three superstars (or groups of superstars) who are on their way up, and three who are moving in the opposite direction. After a busy week that included all the fallout from… Royal Rumble 2023Lots of fortunes changed.
With that in mind, let’s see which stock fell the most this week:
Stock #3: Candice Larry
Candice LeRae and Michin appeared to be aiming for the women’s tag team titles, but Candice didn’t do her team any favors by losing a singles match against IYO Sky on the day of raw.
Stock drop #2: Ridge Holland & BUTCH
The Brawling Brutes mission this week (February 3) smack down It is the setting of the Viking Raiders, who are feuding with Banger Bros. What makes this particularly bad for Holland and Butch is that their stablemate Sheamus is a member of Banger Bros. Sheamus has basically put himself in a better position by choosing to team up with Drew McIntyre instead of these two reds. That’s one way this situation can be explained, at least.
Sheamus’ alliance with BUTCH and Holland is nothing like Doomsday, as every member of the group is presented on roughly the same level.
Stock #1: Baron Corbin
Baron Corbin had not won a televised match in over two months, going back to mid-November when he was taken to the limit by Akira Tozawa. Loser Loser Who Loses Again This Week (Jan 30) raw, this time against Johnny Gargano, which removed him from the Elimination Chamber lineup. The modern god of wrestling gimmick didn’t work for Corbin, even when he was winning matches last October, and now he’s firmly falling on the card.
Now let’s see who has gained the most this week:
Stock #3: Rick Boggs
Rick Boogs returned to WWE with a squash victory over the suit-wearing Miz rawHe is also interviewed later on the show. Seems like a solo push coming Boogs way without being anyone’s friend or hype this time around.
Stock #2: Edge and Beth Phoenix
Edge and Beth have made several appearances rawThey incite violence every time with their relentless attacks on the Day of Judgment. Edge and Beth should be an integral part of the show on the way to WrestleManiaEspecially with The Judgment Day being one of the hottest acts in WWE.
Stock #1: Cody Rhodes
WWE is doing everything they can to introduce Cody Rhodes as a WrestleMania Title attraction. go ahead raw With the big promotion selling you in his quest for the WWE Universal Championship. Then the main event was in the ring by defeating Finn Balor. Rhodes and Sami Zayn both get title shots against Roman Reigns soon, but it’s Cody who gets the best treatment.
There you have it, Cagesiders. Who do you think changed the most this week?
