John Laurinaitis appearance canceled due to ‘only negative feedback’

Yesterday, Bobby Fulton announced that former WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis is set to appear at WrestleMania weekend in Los Angeles for Big Time Collectibles:

The announcement was newsworthy because last August WWE fired Laurinaitis as part of the fallout from Vince McMahon’s Hush Money investigation, and this was to be his first post-WWE booking. However, with the smell of that scandal still fresh in people’s minds, this announcement of Johnny Ace’s booking didn’t end well.

That’s why Fulton put out the following statement today, canceling Laurinaitis’ appearance due to “only negative feedback”:

“Yesterday we announced that John Laurinaitis would be appearing with Big Time Collectibles. Upon the announcement, we received only negative feedback. After much consideration we decided not to work with him. We apologize to those who were offended by our work with him.”

Based on Fulton’s statement, it appears that the decision here rests with the power of the people. It’s easy to get divided about things in today’s internet discourse, but in this case, everyone seems united in their disgust for John Laurinaitis.

What do you think of this, Cagesiders?
