WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle shared a chilling story at His latest podcast.
The Angles were on vacation in Miami, and Kurt decided to take his kids to the ocean for a day – despite the fact that he couldn’t swim. Fortunately, one of them is very good at it…
On this week’s new episode of The Kurt Angle Show, I discuss how my 11-year-old daughter, Julianna, recently saved my life. She is my hero. It was so surreal and I thank God she had the ability to be a great swimmer and kept her composure during the scare.

“I actually took my kids surfing. My first kid I put on a backpack so I could ride them – because they’re too young to drive themselves – I put her on her back and we got out and when I went to take a turn – she slowed down and stopped, I wanted to make a turn – and I didn’t put the accelerator on Turning on when I was turning and we turned in. We went to the ocean.
“Thank God my daughter Like an Olympic-caliber swimmer. I even had a safety vest on but it wasn’t working, I was still drowning. I can’t swim so I’m in trouble. I couldn’t reach above the water, I was going down. My daughter kept her composure. The jet ski turned away from us, it was 50 feet away from us. She didn’t know if she was going to jet ski or me but she came to me and saved my life. Pulling me onto the jet ski, she swam 50 yards with me in her arms.
“I couldn’t get on the jet ski, my arms are so weak now because of my neck I can’t push myself up. So now, she puts her hands under my butt and pushes me up on the jet ski and she gets me there. Then she jumps up after me and says, ‘You know what, honey?’ You just saved my life.”
I guess being a champion runs in the family. it’s the truth. This is correct.
