Taya Valkyrie has no problem winning by hook or by crook. This was evident in her title defense against Trish Adora. A little help from César Duran (alias Dario Cueto) went a long way in retaining the MLW World Women’s Featherweight Championship. Episode 164 of fusion on me Pro Wrestling TV He also made his MLW debut for Sam Adonis and Yamato winning the Open the Dream Gate Championship from Shun Skywalker at DragonGate.
Taya Valkyrie and Trish Adora fight in the main event fusion With gold on the line. Taya was accompanied by Cesar Duran, who was not doing well. An early brawler, Trish would secure a hammer to the mat and then do push-ups on top of Taya to taunt. Taya had some success, but Trish was mostly in control. After a backbreaker and superplex from the challenger, Trish was near the ropes planning her next attack. This is when Doran hooked her foot from the outside. La Wera Loca went jogging, but Trish caught her. Doran pinned Trish’s foot again. This time, Trish fell with Taya on top of her for the winning pin.

This was a good match with a questionable ending. This was the first time Taya cheated on her MLW title reign. The match seemed like a show for Trish to set up a potential rematch on the line rather than eliminating Taya from the challengers as a fighting champion.
In another act of rotation, he introduced Sam Adonis as the newest addition to the Azteca Lucha. Duran’s acquisition positioned him as the fiercest and most violent fighter in Mexico. Adonis has beat the shit out of every luchador in AAA and main evented CMLL in Arena Mexico.

Behind the scenes, Adonis showed why he is an El Rudo. Microman has been minding his own business with a snack. Doran walked next to the trash can. Adonis threw trash on top of the microman and put the trash can on top of the luchador. Lince Dorado stepped in to help Microman. Duran noticed Dorado’s success in winning the MLW World Middleweight Championship and urged him to join the Azteca Lucha.

The best match of the episode came courtesy of DragonGate. MLW broadcast Yamato winning the Open the Dream Gate Championship from Shun Skywalker. It was a dynamite bout from start to finish. The story was Yamato’s insistence on carrying the sleeper as a counter maneuver. The third time was the charm. He wore Skywalker down to carry out Ragnarok’s powers and sitout alongside for victory.

That competition was a great surprise. MLW teased in the preview that Yamato would be wrestling. I had no idea they would deliver such an initial fight. The action was intense, and the drama sizzled as fall drew near. The purpose of this footage was to open our minds to the world of Yamato before he wrestled Alexander Hammerstone for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. mission accomplished. I’m excited to see Yamato take on Hammerstone. (This match has already taken place, but has not yet been broadcast fusion.)
In the promotional tip, Richard Holiday spoke about his absence due to cancer. Doctors have been impressed with how Holiday’s body has responded to chemotherapy, but he doesn’t know when he’ll be back in the ring.

Davey Boy Smith Jr. mocked Kane’s threats. Cheap talk. But damaging the opera trophy would come at a cost to the Hart family’s legacy. Smith would recover in the ring and hurt Kane.
