MLW Roundup: Hammerstone vs. Fatu World Title Fight Official, New Action Figures, More!


Giddy to some buzzing news.

MLW has announce An official date for Alexander Hammerston vs. Jacob Fatu with the MLW World Heavyweight Championship on the line. The rivalry match will once again take place at SuperFight on February 4th in Philadelphia.

The rivalry gained momentum when Hammerston won his third Riott fight to capture Fatu’s world title in 2021. At the time, Fatu was surrounded by a contra unit. Hammerston beat the odds to win the gold medal. Fatu finally splits away from Contra in the fallout from the babyface turn. Fatu won Battle Riot IV, and his shot at SuperFight was called in a grueling rematch. The personal tension seems to have faded over the years, but the competitive tension is still running high for the battle for the MLW Grand Prix.

Meanwhile, SuperFight is waiting for new episodes of fusion Ready for consumption Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET Pro Wrestling TV. last week’s episode (#161) Jacob Fatu appeared opposite Willie Mack. Taurus accidentally collided with Medina. Microman landed the lead for the winning pin. As per the stipulation, Medina has to leave MLW due to being held at a loss.

for this week new episode from fusion, the new era of British Bulldogs is coming to town to restore a family heirloom. Alex Kane stole the Opera Cup from the rightful winner, Davy Richards. The Opera Cup was brought to MLW by Davey Boy Smith Jr. and the Hart family to restore the tradition of heroism. Davey Boy is not pleased with Ken’s treatment of the cup, and is coming to collect the items. Smith will line up Mark Billington and Thomas Billington, nephews of the Dynamite Kid, to wrestle Kane, Myron Reid and Mr. Thomas from the Bomay Fight Club. In the title fight, Shun Skywalker is scheduled to defend the MLW World Middleweight Championship against Lince Dorado. This show marks the beginning of material from the Fightland TV taping on October 30, 2022.
