NWA comes out on Hot Tuesday night (January 31st) for their first live edition of Powerer. The lineup features a world title contract signing, a wedding, the Champions Series finale, and more on the way Naf said.

Naf said is the next NWA PPV on February 11th, and it is inspired by the Tyrus logo. The main event is scheduled for Tyrus to defend the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against Matt Cardona. All that has to happen is to sign the papers to make it official. As is common in professional wrestling, contract signings generally explode into fists.

One thing to watch is if NWA uses this part to build any childish feelings on both ends. Tyrus and Cardona are both heels, which goes against traditional booking.

What’s wrestling without a little love? Aaron Stevens brings romance to his wedding to May Valentine. The ceremony will be moderated by Sam Teemo, who looks suspiciously like Santino Marella in silhouette. As is common in professional wrestling, weddings generally explode into chaos.

Stevens has a beef with Kratos and Question Mark II, so security has a better eye on them in case of snooping. There is also a possibility that Stevens might catch a cold. He had long promised to take Valentine on vacation to Brazil, however, there was always an excuse not to travel.

The Champions Series started with eight teams, and now we’re two. The final between Team Tyrus and Team Rock N’ Roll. The prize is valuable with each member of the winning team getting a title shot of their choice. The format will be Team War, which is an elimination style team gauntlet bout. Think torneo cibernetico without tags. One-on-one until pinfall or submission, then the next team member enters to continue the contest.

Team Tyrus consists of Tyrus as captain, BLK Jeez as co-leader, EC3, Trevor Murdoch, Thrillbilly Silas, Carnage, Rolando Freeman, Samantha Starr, Kayla Kassidy, and Allysin Kay. The Rock N’ Roll cast includes Kerry Morton as captain, Ricky Morton as co-captain, Taya Valkyrie, Chris Adonis, Alex Taylor, Duck Draper, Mims, Maddie Wrinkowski, and La Rosa Negra. La Rosa Negra is an injury replacement for Jennacide, who was not medically cleared to compete.

life Powerer The card will also feature the Sweethearts battle between Angelina Love & Fodder vs. Kamille & Thom Latimer, Bully Ray vs. Odinson in a No Table match, The Fixers (Jay Bradley & Wrecking Ball Legursky) defend the NWA United States Tag Team Championship against The Country Gentlemen (AJ Cazana & “Adorable” Anthony Andrews) and the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions Pretty Empowered (Kenzie Paige & Ella Envy) during a game.

It’s shaping up to be a wild night.
