Released NXT wrestler debuts on Impact Tapings (SPOILERS)

Impact Wrestling takes place in Kissimmee, FL this weekend taping the televsion leading up to their live show – Friday, February 24 no giving up from Las Vegas.

The headliner was the debut of Steve De Lander, who you may remember on WWE NXT as Persia Pirotta. The 25-year-old Australian was working on a TV show with Indy Hartwell, Dexter Loomis and Duke Hudson when she and Loomis were released last April.

• The recording began with a ten bells tribute to the late Jay Briscoe. Demboys won the titles for the influence label from Violent By Design at Under siege In May last year. They dropped the belts to The Good Brothers at Peace anniversary After a month and a half.

Jonathan Grisham def. Aidan Prince

• Grisham cut a promo for his 2022 buzzword, and how Impact is the place for him to resume doing what he loves. Issued a challenge to Speedball Mike Bailey for no giving up.

Mike Bailey def. Raj Singh, then accepted Grisham’s challenge.

Bullet Club (Ace Austin and Chris Bay) def. Kushida and Kevin Knight

Giselle Shaw def. Savannah Evans.

• Then, Shaw grabbed the mic calling herself the “Black Widow of Wrestling” and crediting Tasha Stiles, Chelsy Green, and the influence (Tenille “Emma” Dashwood and Madison Rayne) no longer had an impact.

Crazy Steve def. Sheldon Jane

• Bully Ray promo time. Nobody likes him, and Tommy Dreamer is a fake. Dreamy ejection brought knockout champion Mickie James. She calls him a political snake, he calls her a tramp, I slap her, he slaps her, and Dreamer’s back. He wants a tag match later in the show: him and Mickey against “Bully’s goons” (Good Hands’ John Skyler & Jason Hotch). DoA Santino Marella holds it and bans Ray from ringside.

Kenny King def. Johnny Swinger, then places a notice on every titleholder on Impact.

Sami Callihan and The Design (Dinner, Universe, and Angels) def. Impact World Champion Josh Alexander, Frankie Kazarian, Yuya Uemura, and Rich Swann

Brian Myers def. Dirty Dango to qualify for quad no. Single competitor match in no giving up

Jordyn Grace def. Steve Dlander

• Tag Team Knockout Champions Death Dolls (Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary) def. Killer Kelly vs Taylor Wilde in a non-title match.

• Then Father James Mitchell returned. He said Rosemary hasn’t been paying her respects to his boss lately, so he put a sex tag on her – former NWA Women’s Tag Team Champions The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) that is! They attack the Death Dollz.

PCO def. Shira to qualify for quadruple no. Single competitor match in no giving up

Tommy Dreamer and Mickie James def. Good Hands (Jon Skylar & Jason Hotch). Afterwards, Bully Ray attacked Dreamer while Masha Slamovich attacked James.

Joe Hendry def. Matt Cardona to retain the Digital Media Championship. Moss tried to attack Hendry after the match, but he accidentally took Cardona out.

Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) def. Eddie Edwards & X-Division Champion Trey Miguel to retain the Impact Tag Team Championship. MCMG defends against Gresham and Bailey at today’s taping.
