Rumors of the day:
- Unlike in the past ‘Mania builds’ when Vince McMahon was getting creative, Dave Meltzer said Observer Wrestling Radio That WWE did not deviate from their plan WrestleMania 39 Over the past month or so.
- AEW held a meeting with the women’s roster prior to last week dynamitefor every combat selection. Her goal was to ease tensions before Thunder Rosa returned to the company, and Rosa was shown “fixing” some of the issues she had with her colleagues prior to her injury. Management thought it was productive, and hoped it would serve as a “clean slate”.
- It’s possible something similar could happen if CM Punk returns to AEW when it gets purged in the coming months, but Meltzer said on WORLD that “there has been no mending of fences” between Punk and The Elite, “ever.”
- Regarding recent WWE harassment Dax Harwood posted on social media, Meltzer wrote in Daily update of the observer that he “wouldn’t take it as anything more than trying to get people talking at this point.” FTR’s AEW contracts expired in April.
- Cody Rhodes He told Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 He plans to include every independent promotion he worked for during his absence from WWE on the heavyweight belt he wears at WrestleMania.
- For what it’s worth, said Ric Flair in his own To be the podcast guy that FOX and Netflix are considering making a “Real Housewives of Wrestling” type show featuring his wife Wendy, Kim Orton, Giovanna Angel and Catalina Hager.
