Rumors of the day:

  • Changed Trinity Vt Her Instagram bio to read “Just Trinity” without any references to her time in WWE as Naomi, which led to speculation that she had no plans to return to WWE at this time.
  • after last week Bloomberg Businessweek profile on Tony Khan It included claims that AEW’s “Fight Forever” video game is coming out next month and that the company is close to a streaming deal, Dave Meltzer said in an interview. Observer Wrestling Radio this is not true. On the streaming service, he said, “Of course they want one. It’s been talked about forever, for over a year. But it’s not a deal on the horizon right now.”
  • Backstage reaction to the AEW house show ad has been “positive,” he says combat selection. Not surprising, since the site says “many wrestlers” have pushed for the move. One big reason is that it would enable more inexperienced members of the roster to work with AEW veterans on the road instead of relying on freelance bookings to get reps.
