Rumors of the day:
- The current plan is still for Cody Rhodes to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleManiafor every observer. There has been no change in what happened with Sami Zayn so far, at least.
- PW from the inside He notes that Pat McAfee’s return was so close to the vest that no one in WWE knew it was happening, including Michael Cole and Corey Graves, who prepared to call the entire show off with just the two of them. It’s not yet clear, however, if McAfee is back in the office SmackDown Regularly again or if this is just for show.
- According to Dave Meltzer on Observer Wrestling Radiothe reason Rey Mysterio didn’t work out at the Royal Rumble like he was supposed to was because of his injury SmackDown During his match with Karrion Cross.
- He also said that he thought they would do some heckling for the Dominic vs. RV match WrestleMania in the Rumble match.
- Kurt Angle said his podcast That Hulk Hogan recently had another back surgery and now can’t feel his legs, so he has to use a cane to get around.
- Vince McMahon says he’s been working more hours in the office lately Observer Wrestling Radio. He used to stay all night but that’s not the case anymore and he’s mostly selling.
- MLW sent a cease and desist letter to WWE after they reached out to some of their talent about appearing on Raw XXX (Jacob Fatu and Lance Inoue believe), he says. Wrestling Newsletter.
