Santino Marella has talent in mind. The Authority of Influence Director was tasked with finding a partner for Gisele Shaw to challenge the Death Dollz for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship. Santino chose the Knockouts legend as a surprise partner during Thursday night’s episode of Impact wrestling.

Santino met with Shaw and Jay Vidal to introduce the mystery woman. Vidal was ecstatic as a fan, while Shaw was less than pleased. The identity of the person was still hidden from the camera.

It’s time for Tara’s big reveal!

Tara is a five-time Knockouts Champion and former Knockouts Tag Title holder. Only Gail Kim (seven) and Angelina Love (six) have won the Knockout Championship more times. Tara is also a two-time WWE Champion under the name Victoria.

Tara was going to start the match to an uproarious reaction from the fans, but Shaw played a party spoiler to tag herself in before the action even started. Shaw drove the crowd into a frenzy by raising the mark for Tara. As Shaw rounded the corner, Tara gave a “talking to the hand” gesture. Tara has had enough. The legend entered the ring to spar with her partner. Taya and Jessica snack on popcorn in the corner watching the drama. Shaw ordered Tara to remove her retired ass from the ring. Tara’s response is to boot into the gut and break Widow’s Peak’s neck.
