Saraya and Tony Storm’s initial team-up was unsuccessful (in more ways than one), and on Jan. 18 dynamiteSaraya made it clear who she blamed for that. Storm stopped by Hikaru Shida… but in a subtle way, writing off her failed attempt at interference against Dr. Brett Baker and Jamie Hayter as just a “homegrown AEW girls home” fault.
“these #AEW Local girls, they’ve been in this bubble and haven’t done anything else. They don’t know what we know.”
.@employee And #Tony Storm You have some interesting opinions about it #AEW List of women and @tweet is blasphemy. Watch #AEWDynamite Live broadcast on TBS pic.twitter.com/WEjZmZxLrXAll Elite Wrestling (AEW) January 19, 2023
Shida didn’t make the mistake of getting involved in Tony’s match with Willow Nightingale, but Saraya did. She deflected Nightingale off the apron, allowing the former AEW Women’s Champion to roll Willow. But that wasn’t enough for these former WWE girls. Saraya jumps on the Nightingale after the bell rings, and Tony joins her.
She ran Ruby Soho, herself a former WWE wrestler. And her loyalties remain with her titular partner Willow, at least for now. For her part, Shida is still amazed at her (ex?) boyfriends’ actions.
#Tony Storm Captures the win, however @employee Don’t waste time attacking @employee After the bell! Luckily @tweet She was able to step in just in time, but what have we just seen from Saraya and Tony Storm? listening to #AEWDynamite Live on TBS! pic.twitter.com/MHO8xaxU1D
