January 27th episode of SmackDown WWE’s latest push was towards Royal Rumbleone of the company’s most popular matches and events.
This was one of the factors in last Friday’s show when it came to his performance. Another was the red hot program that shut down both SmackDown And Royal Rumble Those that include Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, The Usos, and another guy named Sami Zayn.

The January 27 edition was watched by 2,544,000. This is the best number so far in 2023, and second in recent memory only to the December 30th show with John Cena. Among the 18- to 49-year-olds, the main Rumble go home set by KO and Solo Sikoa won this Cena episode, scoring . 67, its best number since Christmas Eve 2020 — a showing boosted by being overrun by an NFL game.
Surprisingly, SmackDown didn’t win by those numbers. The show ended in a tie for first with Telemundo’s “narconovela” El Senor de los Cielos. ABC letters Shark tank in third place with a . 59 in the demo.
WWE played it close to the vest with their plans for The Bloodline feud on Raw, so expectations should be high going into this week’s SmackDown. Can you top these numbers?
