Nikki and Brie aren’t holding back on a topic that’s garnered some mainstream attention just in time for their new E! The project.

Nikki Bella isn’t holding back her criticism of Raw XXX and the limited time it takes to honor women’s contributions to the 30-year WWE franchise on Monday night.

Along with sister Bree, “No filter Nikki” discussed the issue on the latest episode of Tamron Hall Show. It was the Hall of Fame I booked the show To discuss WWE’s new reality series on E!, Nikki Bella says I do.

Nikki: What anyone does, when you have love and passion for something, and you put your heart and soul into it, you want to be appreciated. I think this is in any industry. For us female wrestlers, it was Raw XXX, the 30th anniversary. In those 30 years, women have done so much to make Raw what it is… So when you have a three-hour show, it’s male-dominated and women are pretty much not honored at all, you just sit back and you’re like, why aren’t we appreciated? Why don’t you even have a video package showing what all these amazing women have done? “

… I’m annoyed by all the women. Because I know that feeling of going out into the ring — and it happens to some guys, however — where you go out, put your body on the line, and you give your all just to entertain the fans, and the TV viewers. And you just got back, and you want to feel appreciated for that. Some of us suffer career-ending injuries. We shouldn’t go away. And even if, as I feel, if a wrestler leaves the company, or is no longer there, that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be remembered…

I just wished and wished – maybe there will be more to come and we still have a way to go – but women will finally be appreciated for what they do.

Brie: I think the most important thing is that what women are doing today in WWE is amazing. Female wrestlers nowadays are doing incredible things, but it took a lot of women from the past to pave that way. And it’s okay to say “thank you” and be aware of it.

… We come from our passion for women, not our passion for ourselves. The Bella Twins don’t have to be on Raw XXX. All the other women – we can give you a whole long list – should have been there.

The Bellas family is clearly not alone in these concerns. Mercedes Mooney, whose Nikki teased her work as Sasha Banks in WWE in the Instagram Live post that kicked off this latest round of discussion on the subject, only brought up the issue in an interview with her new employers.

But there’s also speculation that these criticisms are now being directed (perhaps with WWE’s blessing) to promote it Nikki Bella says I doand/or the surprise Royal Rumble entry by one or both of the twins this weekend.

Even if this is true, it does not mean that the “click queen” is wrong.
