The former NWA Tag Team Champions make a surprise return on Impact

It was a busy night for the new faces in Impact’s Knockouts division. First, Steve D Lander (formerly Persia Pirotta in NXT) appeared at the Impact Zone. Secondly, former NWA Tag Team Champions served to victory at the behest of Father James Mitchell.

The Death Dollz were in team action in a non-title match against the new duo of Taylor Wilder and Killer Kelly. Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie acted as the Knockouts Tag Champions with Jessica on the outside. The Wilde Witch acted like an awkward partner by consulting her tarot cards before deciding whether to enter the ring. The last card drawn was the deuce. Wilde threw it at her partner. Kelly was confused and backed up on the set of Taya and Rosemary’s Road to Valhalla facebuster. It was an odd way to win, but the Death Dollz got it done.

Business rebounded after the game.

Father James Mitchell is on stage with a message to Rosemary. The Lord of the Undead, Rosemary’s father, was very angry that she had not paid proper respect for a long time. Mitchell was sent to put hex on the Death Dollz.

bubble! Allysin Kay and Marti Belle charged into the ring to destroy Rosemary, Taya, and Jessicka.

Kai and Bill are known as The Hex. They have won tag team gold in several promotions, most notably holding the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship for 287 days. Kay and Belle are no strangers to Impact. Kai is a former two-time Knockouts Champion and former GFW Champion. She wrestled under the name Sienna in those days. Bell was part of the Dollhouse faction.

Hex surprise was a real “dirty” moment for me. This is a great addition to the Knockouts scene. Kay and Belle are both legitimate as singles competitors, however, they really thrive as a tag team. The Hex aren’t just two friends bonded together. They actually work a tight team game in the ring.

Are you excited for Alicin Kaye and Marty Bell to return to Impact?
