The Forbidden Door brand has turned into something amazing. The concept of talent sharing has been around for a long time, but it seems to have blossomed into something pretty cool in the past few years. The most recent example is the NWA and AAA uniting for a special event in Mexico City.
The NWA vs. AAA show takes place March 4 at The World’s Vampire Music Festival. The card includes four championship matches where Tyrus defends the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship, Kamille defends the NWA World Women’s Championship, La Rebelion defends the NWA World Tag Team Championship, and La Nueva Generación Dinamita defends the AAA World Trios Championship.

Lucha Libre AAA
The full lineup for NWA vs. AAA is:
- NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship: Tyros (c) v. Daga
- Trevor Murdoch vs. Psycho Clown
- NWA World Tag Team Championship: Bestia 666 and Mika Wolf (c) vs. Vampiro and Blue Demon Jr.
- AAA World Trios Championship: Thom Latimer, Chris Adonis and Kratos vs Sanson, Quatrero and Forastero (c)
- NWA Women’s World Championship: Camille (c) v. Flamer
- Sal Pal vs. Jack Cartwell
- Aaron Stevens and Natalya Markova vs. Rice and La Hydra
- Lucion fought against Commander and Octagon Jr.
This is an interesting matchmaking. Daga works in a more technical style, so I’m curious how well he can chop up the trunks of a giant Tyrus tree. Trevor Murdoch vs. the psycho clown must be cute. Imagine Vampiro and Blue Demon Jr. becoming the NWA Tag Team Champions in 2023. That would be fierce. Camille has to win to retain the NWA Women’s Title, but it won’t be easy. Flammer is the best AAA kindergartener in the women’s division. Homicide and Cyon are a curious pair considering they’re both hot rivals. Cyon beat killing at Naf said PPV (Results) to retain the NWA National Heavyweight Championship.
As of now, there is no news on whether this show will be available to view on TV or PPV.
