Even with the introduction of Bray Wyatt’s high-profile opportunity on Cageside, I’ll readily admit that L.A. Knight was the funniest part of Uncle Howdy’s storyline on SmackDown. And the closer we get Royal RumbleMountain Dew Pitch Black match between Wyatt and Knight, and that’s still the case.
The fact that LA doesn’t even know what a Mountain Dew Pitch Black match is (besides, it’s kind of a disqualification, likely to be done under weird lighting) didn’t stop that either.
Here’s your latest guide:

Conventional wisdom says that falling out with Wyatt isn’t good for your career, at least in the short term. But Knight is either an exception to this rule, or a sign that is no longer valid.
While he won’t be a favorite next Saturday in San Antonio, many people now know what kind of talent Eli Drake has. It’s hard to imagine WWE wouldn’t find a use for someone who’s self-disposed – and can sell a wacky product tie match without knowing what it is – the way they do.
This is just a fact of life (yeah).
