Unless you’re a fan of WWE’s streaming Friday night show Level upYou may not know Sudoo Shah. He’s been calling the action on NXT’s B-show since January of last year, when it was called 205 live Although it’s been a while since I’ve focused on cruiser weights.
It’s only been a year, but Shah’s time in WWE has spilled over into the show he worked on, big announcer changes in October, and a few rounds of releases from the developmental ranks. But this morning (January 11th) he announced that last night’s NXT taping was his last day in WWE.
Yesterday was my last day with WWE. What an amazing experience working with some of the most talented people I have ever met. Thanks to everyone who watched and supported each week! pic.twitter.com/RUT0pL1B8M

Looks friendly, however PWInsider says They were told that Shah (whose real name is Sudu Upadhyay) was released by WWE.
The former WMC-TV Memphis & Fox 5 Atlanta sports anchor worked with Nigel McGuinness prior to firing the ROH legend last fall, and has been partnering with Byron Saxton ever since. No word on who will be contacting Level up After Friday’s episode.
Join us in wishing Sudu the best in whatever lies ahead for him.
